Join us in Phoenix, Arizona for a Regional NCFIC Conference on uniting church and home! The National Center for Family-Integrated Churches seeks to encourage unity between church and home through family-integrated worship and promoting the role of fathers in the life of the church and home. Special emphasis is placed on the sufficiency of Scripture for faith and practice.

God gave His Church His Word so that in the power of His Spirit His Church would accomplish His mission for His glory. The mission of the Church is to make disciples of all nations. God's Word is the spring of life-giving truth for the discipleship of every generation and in every nation. God Himself gave His Word by inspiration under the guidance of His Spirit (2 Peter 1:21). This uniquely qualifies and guarantees that the Scriptures are "profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete…for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17)." The scriptures are our all-sufficient source for discipleship.

But why are so many Christian men not engaging in discipleship? Many are absent from prayer meetings, absent from spiritual leadership, both at church, and in their homes. The women are there...where are the men? Titus 2 calls older women to teach younger women to respect their husbands and love their children while keeping the home. But where are these women? God created the Christian household for the discipleship of the next generation (Eph. 6:1-4). Knowing the vital role Christian households play in discipleship, the enemy is doing everything to destroy marriages, ruin children, and hinder effective discipleship. The church is to be the pillar and ground of the truth, yet foundational truths that once supported the Christian household are being destroyed. All too often the church has not understood Satan's schemes to destroy the Christian home. May God reform the church and rebuild families!

The purpose of the Uniting Church and Family Conference is to encourage the church to better equip Christian families and to exhort households to fulfill their callings in the Lord's church. Although not new to Christianity, multi-generational discipleship is a robust biblical vision desperately needed in our day. It is important that we understand biblical jurisdictions as the family is not called to disciple itself. The church has been given the unique purpose of being the "pillar and support of the truth (1 Timothy 3:16)" and has been given pastors and teachers to equip the saints for ministry. The church and family become united under God when biblical truths and priorities for the Lord's church are embraced by the family, and the biblical truths and priorities concerning the Christian family are supported by the church. The conference speakers will outline a simple approach to ministry whereby any church can create a culture that will deeply motivate men, women, and children to pursue Christ's will in the church and family. Men will be exhorted to Christ-like leadership, biblical womanhood will be extolled to its rightful place, and God's promises concerning children will be celebrated.

May the Lord Himself grant multi-generational faithfulness to Him in our homes (Ps. 78:6-7), intergenerational discipleship in His church (Titus 2), and worldwide discipleship by the church (Acts 8:4) - for His glory!
